Company
history
The story of Taxi Boest began in 1994, when Mr Sylvio Boest laid the foundation for the company in Bad Orb with two taxis.
As early as 1996, Mr Boest took over another taxi company in Bad Soden-Salmünster and continued to expand operations in the region. In the years that followed, especially between 2000 and 2015, the service area was expanded to include the locations Steinau an der Straße and Wächtersbach, allowing the company to develop into an established regional mobility provider.
Over the years, a small operation with two vehicles grew into a company with 17 taxis and 4 hire cars by the end of 2021. For his entrepreneurial achievements and long-standing commitment, Mr Sylvio Boest was awarded an honorary certificate by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in 2017 for 25 years of successful work in the Main-Kinzig district.
In April 2022, Mr Majid Ahmed took over Taxi Boest GmbH and has since continued to run the company with the aim of modernizing existing structures, strategically developing the business further, and further strengthening the Taxi Boest brand in the region.
In 2023, the service area was expanded to include the Schlüchtern location. Another important step followed in 2025 with the “Taxi Boest in Motion” project, which further expanded medical transport, especially with wheelchair-accessible vehicles, stretcher transport, and stair chair transport.
Today, Taxi Boest is a broadly positioned regional mobility company with four locations, around 80 employees, and a modern fleet of 40 vehicles, offering classic taxi rides as well as medical transport and hire car services in the region.
In the future, Taxi Boest will continue to grow as a reliable mobility partner in the region, continuously evolve, and actively help shape mobility in the area.

With more than 18 years of international professional experience in finance, tax, controlling, and auditing, I have built my career across various markets, including Dubai, Denmark, and Germany. In addition, I earned an MBA with a focus on finance.
In 2022, I took over Taxi Boest GmbH with the goal of further developing a well-established regional taxi company with modern structures, digital solutions, and a clear focus on service quality.
Entering the taxi and mobility sector was a deliberate decision for me, as reliable mobility is an important part of everyday life and regional infrastructure. Our goal is to get people in our region to their destination on time, safely, and reliably – in daily life, on the way to work, or to important medical appointments.
A key success factor for our company is our dedicated team, which ensures every day that our passengers can rely on our service.
My vision is to further strengthen Taxi Boest as a strong and trustworthy brand in the region, seize new opportunities, and continuously develop our company.
